The CAMEO WP2 group met in person for a meeting at ECMWF in Bonn on 27-28th September 2023.
The individual members presented the progress made so far on the afternoon of the 27th September and the group had a lot of fruitful discussions about the work.
In-depth discussions were held on the morning of the 28th September, about the work needed to implement the biogenic inversion system in the IFS, as this relies on close collaboration between all partners (ECMWF, KNMI and BIRA-IASB).
WP2 lead Antje Inness commented on how useful it had been to meet in person:
“Although we meet regularly on-line, it was very important to have the chance to actively discuss the work in-person and plan the next steps”.
