CAMEO project team members are presenting at the European Geosciences Union 2024 conference, (EGU). The mix of oral and poster presentations on CAMEO work will be made by Oleg Dubovik, Gael Descombes, Vincent Huijnen, Flora Kluge, Lewis Blake and Zoi Paschalidi.
Oleg kicks off with a poster session on Tuesday morning on “Harmonization of the assumptions of atmospheric aerosol properties in climate models and remote sensing approaches”. Tuesday late afternoon sees Gael present on “Satellite data assimilation at regional scale using the Chimere model” which is immediately followed on by Vincent presenting “An online parameterization of biogenic VOC emission fluxes in the Integrated Forecasting System for atmospheric composition”.
Two posters are presented on Wednesday morning; Flora presents “Initial steps towards an inversion system for biogenic isoprene emissions in CAMS: Verification using HALO mini-DOAS and TROPOMI observations and simplified chemistry” and Lewis presents his poster on “Analytical Propagation of Emission Uncertainties into CAMS Policy Products”
Zoi rounds off the busy Wednesday morning with her talk on “Integrating Geostationary Satellite Data for Advanced Air Quality Modeling: Evaluating GEMS NRT Observations within the ECMWF’s IFS system for the HE CAMEO Project”.
